Glad that he was able to make the angel laugh Kuro listens with a little smile as Aoba talks about his family life. 'Well, I kinda knew that whole “God is our father” family mentality, but. . . .Wow, his family life almost sounds suckier than mine! At least I has my family's attention when I needed it. Sure, it was mostly, well, hell, but if I ever needed back up against anyone outside the family picking on me, I could at least call Issho or Himura. They'd be there in an instant at my call down there, but my Little Mouse. . . .' He lets out a little sigh, wandering back over to the tub to pack in the dry grass. He bites his lip, unsure if he wants to reciprocate about his family, however after sparking out a fire into the grass, watching the smoke billowing it, he decides it will be a good distraction for the smaller male once they're in the tub. Noting the deep flush now working it's way down Aoba's neck Kuro hides a smirk, pretending not to notice, and begins stripping down as if it's the most natural thing in the world. He keeps his eyes on the tub and speaks softly. “That sounds a lot like many of the rich or middle class families here on earth. A lot of the times, the richer you are, the less you see your kids. Other than my own family, I have very little in the way of knowledge about demon families. I've never had much interest in them, the children down there. . . . But, anyways.” He slips off the last bit of his clothing and climbs the little set of steps along the side and climbs into the tub. The water isn't hot yet, but it is warm enough that Kuro doesn't shiver. He stokes the flame a little with his energy and the water begins warming a bit faster. He motions for Aoba to join him, keeping his gaze from roving openly over that lovely figure despite his strong desire to do exactly that. “My family however. . . it's interesting. As you know, I'm the youngest, Dani the youngest before me, but he had a special talent that Pops enjoys, so he wasn't picked on like I was.” He chuckles ironically. “I'm the oddball, in every sense of the word, as far as my family's concerned. I have no special talents that Pops is interested in, so, yeah, I've been mostly a toy for my older siblings for my entire life.” 'Which is why those stupid tortures up in heaven did squat' “But, in a way. . .I think I may have had it better than you.” In the front yard Dani has moved close to the house. Still in the front yard, as commanded, he is just close enough to hear his younger brother talking. Not that he's interested what the little nerd has to say about their family life, he's just bored and needs something to do. He doesn't care what Kuro thinks. . . Kuro holds up a hand, begging a moment to explain himself. “Yeah, I know, saying that after admitting being tormented my entire life sounds contradictory, but just hear me out.” Reaching up to touch the only part of his outfit he didn't remove, the pendant he keeps hidden under his clothes that marks him as Satan Spawn, he tilts his head slightly. “You're right, my father can in no way be compared to yours, save that he was once and angel himself. However, from what you told me, you had no way to see them when they were on the job. You, without even siblings, had no close family to call upon. Now, for an angel, I guess that's fine, all your neighbors being you family and all, but. . .” Dani tilts his head a little, having no real interest in angel living, but curious none the less, because he has nothing else to do. Unsure of how else to put it, he taps the pendant again. “If I was in trouble, with anything I couldn't handle, all I would have to do is touch this and call for him, and Pops would appear in a flash. Literally, he like popping in with a flash, but that's beside the point. I can even call any of my siblings, if they are in range, and they would come to my side. And, as long as it was something that I could not handle, they would help me. The only reason I was captured was because I was taken in my sleep and my hands were trapped, my pendant stolen, before I could call for help. It's also why I was such a prize for them. With our connection to Pops and his over possessive nature, capturing one of us is near impossible.” Kuro's not sure what he's driving at any more, but one last point he feels he must put forward. “I'm sure heaven is perfect for angels, but to me, it sounds lonely.” He falls silent, gazing down at the moon's thumbnail reflection in the water.
