Lexi's words were soothing, but he didn't think he deserved that much praise... but that was Peter being modest. He was just thankful that he and the Doctor saved her life... He returned her kiss. Yet again his health factor helped him. No longer were his lips chapped, or cut from the previous battle. He did his best to hold her, doing his best to not hold on too hard, or go over a bruise, or hurt her. He was afraid he would never feel her lips on his again, or to be able to talk to her, or feel her velvet skin... Peter wasn't going to let her out of his sight. He wasn't going to let any threat touch her, or get anywhere near her. It was his responsibility, as Spider-Man, and as Peter Parker. "Do you need anything? Food, water, extra blanket, foot, shoulder, back massage?" He asked with a grin. His mood was lifted dramatically after the kiss. He was his witty, hilarious (to himself, of course) self again.
