Yes, move sets are not required in this RP, as it will restrict us in more ways than one. Perhaps, like Path said, it would be best to know that you can tackle, bite, and scratch another Pokemon, but moves that are similar to Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, etc. are some things that you must practice if you want to be any good at them.
