Eli was as he fully expected, impressed with Kiera. He wasn't expecting her to stick with him through all this. He almost expected her to fly above all the buildings and keep an eagle eye on him. She was every bit the game he was hoping for. With only a handful of blocks remaining, Eli made an almost stupid decision to make a very hard right turn. Even with all his experience it was still pretty hard turn for him. He crouched, leaning over to his right side. His momentum slowed as he stretched out his legs, his body almost parallel with the ground. While he was at it, he threw in some style points and did a couple of barrel rolls. At the end of the alley they were back out on the main wide open roads. A little ways down the road was a power substation. Eli raised the lead end of his pole high into the air and started his ascent into the sky. Once he was around what he was thought 100 feet he hovered about power substation. He started absorbing all the electricity that he could handle. When he thought he was close to full, he stopped and looked at his hands nine out of the ten were glowing. It was more than ample enough for anything he had to do. His face still wore the mask of tiredness, however he was by more energized than before. His only remaining task was to get another shirt, there more than a couple places he could do so. It was all about how much trouble he wanted to deal with. It might be easier to just buy one. Still, there was some fun to be had in introducing her to some friends he had. She'd more than likely run for the hills but it would be funny. On the other hand, they did have places to go and people to see.
