Ryu looked around at the scared people around him. The people gave off a strange vibe that made him only want to duel more. 
"Okay Jain what can you tell me about them." he said to his spirit partner, a woman wearing silver armor wielding a shield and sword.

"Not much only that they are cloaked in a dark aura....I am however sensing a familiar presence but I can't quite pick out who or what it is." she said meeting his gaze.
"Fine let just go meet our opponent the faster we get this done the faster we can get these people out of danger." he replied as he walked toward the dueling stage after the end of the duel that had just been going on.
 He looked around and saw all of the terrified faces of the spectators and duelists that had gathered.
 [i] This Was supposed to be a fun and happy tournament and these people went and ruined it...I Won't let them beat me I have to get these people free. [/i] he thought to himself as he took the stage and awaited his opponent.
