Well, then what have people been debating with and attacking me for then?

With that inclusion, it would have been even more of a non-issue than it was before. It was only, without that text, it would not have been an effective weapon.

I've essentially repeated the same thing. It was accepted, it just wouldn't have been effective in clashing with other weapons.

EDIT: I may have initially misread. But what tech does your character's sword use that makes it unique? Can you describe it in more detail.
