Well, It's pretty much about this kingdom that rules over the entire forest. The kingdom had existed for hundreds of years (if not more), and tradition is prominent in just about everything. Because of this, nobody ever ventures out of the forest, afraid of what might be out there. The only thing that they know about the outside is a large mountain that can be seen high above the trees.

one of the ideas that I had for this was that one of your characters would be royalty, up next in line for the throne. The other character would play a guard that watches over the other and protects them. One day they could escape from the castle for whatever reason, and venture out near the edge of the forest. When people start to believe that they were thinking of leaving, the two are forced to leave the forest to make sure that nobody comes after them. After that, they explore the new world and do other things.
