"I've heard stories of the Grand Claudius since I was a girl. How they burned villages trying to rid of the cur of the night, sent small armies to stop you and other purebloods. And how you would tear them down without a moments hesitation." Claudius's clear eyes stared into the woman's own...and all vampires present, even the human guards fell silent, "Teach us, we cannot spread our message of peace between races unless we conquer Kingdoms and change the laws of others. We must fight to prevent more of this hatred, this fear of others like you, demons, and other beings alike. It will be a war... and I need your help, Sir Claudius." Closing his eyes, the pureblood leaned back in his chair and let out a tired sigh. Drumming his fingers on the arm of his chair, and humming for a moment in though, almost like no one else way present...his eye flicked open and he righted himself once more. It was clear to the other vampires that something the human woman said must have upset him, but if Claudius was anything, he was patient. "You need not spare the details, I'm sure you also heard the tale of my capture...and when they tried to burn me at the stake." The whole population, not even just the vampire present, could suddenly feel the turn up of the tension in the room. Many a century ago, Claudius was dragged out of his hidden bunker in the mountains by a blessed silver wire tied to his neck, tied and burned up in the middle of the city square. If it hadn't begun raining that day, quite suddenly...he wouldn't have escaped. It was a widely believed rumour that that particular incident, along with forcing his body to speedily heal up the burns, was the main reason he had fallen into the long slumber he did. Popping the knuckles of his hand absentmindedly, Claude blinked a few times, before reaching over and gently tucking a strand of loose hair away from Beatrice's face. Surprisingly, it was Eirham who spoke up next, "Do you have any other leaders, any other groups or organization advocating for such a thing? I don't want Sir Claudius's name to be attached to a failed endeavor."
