After listening to Claudius speak, Beatrice's features softened, and it dawned on her the possible gravity this might mean for Claudius. She had turned to ask him thinking he would want nothing more than to escape his birdcage. Yet as she listened, and considered quietly what he was saying, she knew that he had not ultimately turned her down. It was when he tucked the hair out of her face, that she knew he was willing to help her. She gave him a small smile in thanks to his... almost nonexistant acceptance of her proposal. He was considering it, and that meant she could push through with her next part. Almost on cue, the Vampire Eirham spoke up, questioning her folly. Slowly, the blonde noblewoman stood from her chair, slowly making her way to the other side of the table. As she did, she spoke. "I and Ferrous Castle alone are pushing for equality of all beings. However, as I'm sure you ancient beings know, I am a descendant of the Demon Sparta." "W... Sparta? I had thought... that was a mere rumor..." A Vampire man spoke up, watching her make her way around the long table. Even the human guards eyes slowly widened. The Demon Sparta. The Demon Who Stole the Sun. The Legend goes, that for a decade, the sun neither rose not sank on its designated compass. A decade of darkness that destroyed civilizations and brought forth demons of man. The sun never came, for the Light Eating demon, named Sparta, had stolen it for himself. Forever that decade he gazed upon the sun, not out of hatred of others but for his own greed and selfish love of sunshine. For Vampires, the age was the most delicious, their world of night. The only thing that ever returned to the sun to the sky was not armies, not ethereal force... but a human woman, who herself had brought armies to their knees and left a trail of broken heats beneath her. Finding new reason to exist, the demon Sparta returned the sun to its rightful place and began a Kingdom with his beloved. Their army could never be properly trained, thanks to the men who had lived in an era of darkness working under them. Thus it was only the royal guards that could be trained, to protect and serve the new royal family. Together with his bride, Sparta alone conquered lands of other kingdoms, with a blade so quick and a fire so hot no one could stand before him. His wife gave birth to a half demon child, who married a human woman, whom married another human woman, and so on. Some say the Demon Who Stole the Sun still walked amongst the living, mourning the death of the one who turned him from his selfish ways and protecting Ferrous castle. But of course... it could only be a rumor, right? "Sparta," Beatrice smiled at the Vampire, "Is no legend. And with all the power of the Light Eaters... Failure is impossible. And I can demonstrate why." She looked to her bodyguard, who nodded, opened the double mahogany doors, and brought forth two prisoners, bound in shackles. They were placed just before the table, shaking in fear and looking wildly around. A small whimper escaped their throats. She came beside them and turned to the Vampires present. "With your permission, I'd like to demonstrate on these prisoners, condemned to death, my abilities." One of the Prisoners shuddered in fear as Beatrice raised a single hand, listening for what the Vampires would say. ---- Aagni had slithered up his leaders arm and waited until they were outside when his leader pleaded for him to change back. He looked at her, allowing his tongue to flick in response for a moment, before slithering down into a crack in the rocks. A moment later, Aagni, in his full outfit, satchel and all, pulled himself out of the rocks and sat across from Sasha, folding his legs. His mask remained prominantly against his face. "...I have failed you, in terms of stealth. I am sorry." His whispy response came, and he bowed his head to his leader in apology.
