Creed watched silently as these events unfolded before him. After the angel and the other man, he didn't really care to remember his name if it was even spoken, left he looked at Darkside and the other fellow, waiting patiently as they chatted. He would be a lot more impatient, but the being with the stench of evil had promised him he'd be able to kill something soon. For that, Clarent's hunger for blood calmed somewhat and he was able to be patient. Clarent. The Sword of Fire, that hungered for destruction. Visions once more flooded him as he noticed the blade, opening the door he kept close, holding visions of the previous users. Mars Ultor, whom the Romans or Greeks (like hell if he could remember which, maybe it was both, he shrugged) revered as a god of war. He was quite simply a man. A man, who slaughtered thousands and had his mind forever warped by the blade now in Creed's hands. There were others, figures of legend, praised for their prowess in combat, who's minds had fallen to the sword, as they were twisted and warped. Clarent pulsed with a lust to be coated in blood, and glowed with the light that it had stolen from it's users, corrupting them to the very core. And in battle, it burned with the hatred of thousands of men, hell bent on slaughtering all who stood in their way. Truly, in battle, Clarent was a blade like no other. So far, it had only ever been taking advantage of those that had used it. It had a faint respect for those who could wield him, but little more, and he tossed one user away in exchange for a new one often without complaint. Creed had been different. He had been corrupted from the very start, and had accepted Clarent without fighting it's evil presence. Clarent had been intrigued by this new development, as none had been so quick to accept him, and even be able to keep their minds, though he later learned Creed had long lost his before they met. The two beings had quickly forged a friendship bound in blood and gore and fire, a friendship that couldn't be broken. Creed smiled, a fond yet malicious smile. Yes, Clarent was his instrument of destruction... but it was also his best friend.
Suddenly, a man in a red cloak appears beside him, observing Darkside and the other man before him as well. "I see there hasn't been much to miss..." He says.
