Connor was shocked as Elizabeth grabbed him, pushing him against the wall. He didn't fight, seeing no point in it, cursing himself for a fool for having left his gun. Another mistake. His heart was beating fast, his breathing was shallow and quick, the only reaction his body have to the situation. Otherwise, he was calm. He stayed very still, watching her. Was this just inevitable? His death? Was it always going to end like this, with Elizabeth killing him, meeting death four years later then he should have? Or was it inevitable that she would succumb and turn him? Were they destined to kill each other? He didn't fight back, his wrists in her hands, and he took a small amount of comfort at that. Maybe...but all thought fled as she pushed against him, and he sucked in a shocked breath, as she stopped just by his ear, seeming to hesitate. He didn't feel her breathing, and didn't know if that was a good thing or not. What was she up to? "Elizabeth" he whispered softly, almost sensual.
