Rio watched Shou's cheerful display with her usual straight face before cocking an eyebrow in response to what he had said. [b]"Me? I'm afraid that I cannot be your mentor. However, I can help you find the right person for you but for that, I will need to see a sample of your current skills."[/b] She spoke with usual calmness. [b]"Thank you for the compliments Shou, but flattery will get you nowhere with me... But I do know that it may with some of the other Soul Reapers so save it for them. Now, prepare yourself for showing me what you know so far."[/b] Turing around, Rio began walking. [b]"Follow me."[/b] She stated. She didn't want to come across as soft to Shou to show him that she was serious about helping him out.

Rio led Shou to a forest of bamboo, the one near Kaizo's destroyed shack. Suddenly stopping and turning to Shou, she crossed her arms. [b]"Now, show me something."[/b] Observing Shou's body language, Rio awaited an answer.
