Sol doesn't have dissociative identity disorder, but he does seem to be able to switch between personalities depending on the occasion. One might call him a chameleon due his constant transformation in personalities. However there are two dynamic personalities that Sol uses on a regular basis. His first personality is that of which he uses to talk, lead, and direct his crew. As most of his crew members have discovered from their first encounter with strange ambiguous character was he was a rather cunning gentlemen who had such a way with words some deemed him with a silver tongue. His smooth, charismatic, and levelheaded was his normal apparitions. While with his crew Sol is quite the easy going Captain the type of Captain that were close to none in the New World. His qualities where that of a man who prized his nakama before anything else. Other than his light hearted demeanor he relies on instinct and can be compared to a wild animal being able to discern on who to trust or who needs to be fought. These traits make for quite the powerful character, nonetheless Sol does have a dark side one that he doesn't very much like bribing out. His other dynamic personality is the one that was born out of pain and desperation. This personality is more relatable to that of the New World's actual pirates. In this personality his views on the world become tunneled. Sol only cares of revenge, bloodshed, and brutality in this form. Friends and foes become a distinct shade of gray, meaning he has no capability of distinguishing who is who in this form unless they have a strong enough bond to bring him back to his good graces. This ravenous monster exerts all Sol's power into one cataclysmic depiction as he has no sense of restraint for his actions, often scaring off anyone before hand. In this form Sol is most susceptible to trickery or coercion thus provoking him more. This form is especially efficient if he is by himself where he can let his anger free and not worry of the causalities later. Sol loses all premise of nobility and becomes a thug his attitude is apathetic he becomes quite sarcastic and grows remorseless. The birth of this personality can only be thanked by the Megaladon Fishman that destroyed his family and Sol's life. Short History: Sol doesn't really have that much of a history or at least he doesn't like to talk about it. His memory is all to scarce for him to recollect any 'happy' moments he might have lived while he was young. The story of Sol goes something like this. Sol was born into a very hardworking and luxurious upbringing, his parents worked for what they had. They lived on a small island somewhere in the red sea where talks of pirates and One Piece was only in newspapers and treated as “Politics” by the people around them. The village wasn't very infamous for it was a simple island that every seaman had overlooked on their adventures for it contained no wealth or any object of value. The neighborhood was rather small so everyone on the island knew each other by first name and house number. Everything was quite peaceful for a time there was nothing but peace and prosperity, but that was before Sol had discovered his new found powers. You see what you didn't know was that Sol's parents were marines who had worked in the New World protecting against the inexplicably evil forces that was the Pirates. His father had been a Vice-Admiral and ironically enough his mother was his father's first mate, that is how their romance had begun. The two had been like any other marine, kind, caring, and willing to put their lives on the line to protect innocent people from the mindless bloodshed that pirates had caused. What started as a general hate for pirates grew into a full on hatred as they discovered more of the Yonkou and the Shichibukai and the crimes that followed their awful shadows. The more they were stationed there the more entertained with the thought of locking up fishman since they were terrible creatures. The couple eventually drowned themselves in the idea of containing such high quality fishmen and using them as a means of income and use o ambush pirates eventually becoming quite publicized by the Marines for their heroic duties, but the couple kept the slavery a secret from the government as knowing such would automatically make them AWOL. However their biggest fear had become a reality as the word of their underground fishman slavery rig was eventually found out by the slavery freedom fighter Yonkou, Sanoshin ‘Sano’ Shirozame. An average day on Sabaody Archipelgo the two had been making a deal with The World Nobles until Sano himself had showed up and assaulted their base of operations creating the first ever jail break on such a grand scaled. Catching wind of his assault minutes earlier by a marine den den mushi the two were able to escape on marine ships while Sano ravaged the archipelago and killed the World Nobles, however he caught a scent of their blood and that scent would be locked in his nostrils forever. As months passed Sano continuously freed fishman slaves and eventually eradicated the thought of slavery ever making its way complacent again. Losing their major source of income and nobility the two seemed at wits end, planning on creating a small workshop of slaves was the only way they would be able to continue living in the New World. However, Sano had his connections since he was now one of the Four Yonkou. Discovering this the two were ambushed as their crew was annihilated and the two escaping with nearly nothing left. The two then decided to retire from the New World and the marines learning their lesson and retiring to the small town they reside in now. There is where they started their new lives and ave birth to Kokoro. Kokoro was a simple child, usually quiet upbeat and happy, never really bothering anyone. The child was a kind soul and the small town worshiped him as the light of their small town. One day Kokoro was adventuring the island as usual until he wandered off into the most barren parts of town. On the outskirts, Kokoro's curiosity got the better of him when he heard the sound of ravaging and voice that were much more foul than any of that he had ever heard of. Upon closer look he found that there were pirates who had just recently landed on the island since they were carrying a large treasure chest with them. It seemed they were low on supplies and had rationed all their food on their journey for locating a “Devil Fruit” Kokoro was quite confused as he thought if they had a fruit why they just didn't eat it. Nevertheless Kokoro drew closer, but not whim, it was rather on instinct. Little did he know as he drew closer he was becoming visible to the pirates and his movements started to draw louder as he was entranced by the fruits overwhelming power. Snapping a twig the Pirates all hushed at once and caught wind of Kokoro as they found his exact location and attack. Snapping out of his own trance he soon realized that he was being captured by the pirates at that same exact moment. His pleas for help began to flow out his mouth while he began retaliating with his small but quite fit body. Even though he was weaker than the pirates he was slender and quicker and quite smart. Slipping their grasp Kokoro rand towards the fruit and grabbed as the pirates swelled into an anger. Luckily for him his parents were on their way with guns in hand and their combat expertise in hand. The pirates began to beating on Kokoro as he was balled up with an iron lock grip on the fruit as his back and head took sever beatings. His life and consciousness was quickly slipping away, he had no choice but to eat the fruit. The fruit hadn't been like any of the ones he had eaten in his lifetime, it was a purple pear with swirls carved into the fruit as if it was created like that. Kokoro figured if he were going to die regardless he rather it be quick by eating this mystical fruit. Upon eating the fruit the flavor was atrocious as if he actually did eat poison. Kokoro simply laughed as his life was about to fade in the balance. A gunshot ripped open the air around them as the beatings stopped and bodies began to fall violently to the floor along with Kokoro. His vision was blurry from the combination of the fruits powers taking place and the beatings he had received. He had only seen silhouettes of his parents who he thought were also pirates. His eyes shut and his vision went black until he woke to his bed the following morning. It appeared his parents had killed the pirates and called the marines to dispose of the bodies and the ship along with it's treasure. Kokoro was the only person on the island that had not knew of his parents past until the other Marines had introduced themselves as “Old Friends' this gave Kokoro a refreshing feeling as his parents were 'Strong People' and was able to save their only child. What they had not known was the pirates weren't actually there for rations they were there to deliver the fruit to his parents so they could sell the fruit on the pirate market, for their conniving personalities had come back and they couldn't bear living so complacent on such a shitty town. Upon killing the pirates it appeared they didn't catch that Kokoro had eaten the fruit and just dismissed it to two timing pirate scum. While they went back to finding another fruit Kokoro continued to venture alone outside becoming self aware of his new powers. When he touched a tree he grew bark all over his skin, if he touched the sand he would become sand itself. However his clothes would change with him no matter how much weight he bore, it was kind of odd to see his clothes adapting with him, but he did feel better naked. As he grew older Kokoro began to perfect his ability finding knew ways of using his powers and extending them. He keep this part of him secret, but his training was missing one thing, actual combat training. While hiding his secret he asked for his parents to train him in all the ways of the marine so he could row up and follow in their footsteps. Quite surprised his parents agreed and began teaching him the basics until months passed and he caught up to their current training. Surprised at his rate of success they began to speculate on why this was. Wanting closer inspection the two followed Kokoro out one day and hid among the brush learning of how he was becoming so adept of a fighter. They were shocked by what they found next, Kokoro was their 100,000,000 beri reward. Furious that he had robbed them of their prize and power the two emancipated the young boy. Days following the training had stopped and his parents had grew distant almost as if Kokoro was invisible. What they were actually planning on using Kokoro as their 'slave' in a slave fight club that had been set up in the new world territories. Calling in a few favors and using Kokoro as a scapegoat the two had gotten permission to stay within New World borders. Like night and day his parents began speaking to Kokoro again and intensified his training not stopping for a break or food until they were sure they had a killing machine on their hands. Excited his parents were talking to him once more his ignorance was truly bliss as he only chalked the training up to becoming a man. Kokoro was thrown into the fight club, you see a 16 year old boy with a smile that could melt hearts was no threat to the hulking pieces of fishman and pirates in the slave pens. His first fight was going to be against a Chinese fighting fishman while he was backstage his parents began to hype him up telling him it was only a wrestling match. Unprepared, misinformed, and inexperienced Kokoro felt confusion for the first time. Upon making his way to the ring the sound of crackling could be heard throughout the building. Seconds later the building erupted in water allowing for Fishman who weren't slaves to pour in. While the other fishman attacked the sponsors and slavers one fishman stood out amongst the rest. This fishman stopped in the middle of the arena and began to sniff the air as his eyes locked onto his parents and young Kokoro. It was the Megaladon Fishman himself, Sano. The scent his parents left the first time had all but disintegrated, growing enraged the Ancient Sharks ravaged the building and charged straight forward at the two ex-marines who had imprisoned his kind. Sano with one fluid motion flew towards the family as fear had rooted the two in their place, Kokoro had tried to nude them free, but he couldn't do anything. Thinking quick his kin touched the steel beams and his skin transformed into full on steel, it was useless. Sano raised a hand and swatted Kokoro to the ground tearing past the steal and tearing a large gash across his face which immediately began to bleed and caused his skin to turn back to normal flesh. The blood loss and trauma caused Kokoro to pass out while the last images he saw was a fist passing through his father chest while his mother was pinned to the wall with the monsters gargantuan arm. Kokoro had awoke to being on the outskirts of fishman island where he became what Sano had tried so hard to free him from, a life as a slave. For the next six years Kokoro had been held captive as a slave of the Fishman. Everything was black, nothing was connecting and his brain had suffered brutal trauma. His mind felt disconnected from his body, an out of body experience some might call it. Flares of images rushed into his brain reminding him of the pain he felt not to long ago. ”Wake up....Wake up....WAKE UP!” a voice shouted trying to raise Sol from his comatose. Nothing was working, his life was slipping into the depths of the ocean where he would simply become another “Pirate Tale”. The voice came back stronger than before while his brain became more agitated, whether it was from the blond loss or the nerves contacting the brain, he did not know. More and more images scurried around in his head, more violent and profound than before. Blood, death, the smell of fish; It was all coming back to him while the pain grew excruciating! Finally, like a explosion at it's climax everything rushed to a quite murmur and then the image of a Grey murky skinned shark with robust sharpened teeth and then with a focus on they eyes the monster bellowed out a blood curdling roar. Awake, Sol had finally awoken from his comatose, drenched in sweet and his face covered in blood, nothing made sense. Kokoro was in no normal hospital, no, it was more of a fishery where they skinned and prepared. His vision growing from blurry to clear everything seemed to go from bad to worse. Being thrown into the frying pan with nothing but broken memories was not very enticing. After a few subtle minutes, Kokoro finally regained consciousness and the adrenaline that had kept him awake faded fast. Now the pain that surged through the left side of his face cascaded into that of a razor blade cutting beneath the skin. Attempting to sit up, his movements were restricted by a pair of chains that had been cupped tightly around his wrists. This wasn't any ordinary hospital or fishery, it was a prison for humans. His strength sapped he couldn't channel enough energy to break out of his bonds, all he could do was wait. Suddenly a fishman busted through the door, plump and gargantuan in nature. The fishman introduced himself as the pufferfish fishman and Kokoro had been sold into slavery. Kokoro was ripped from his bed and brought outside where a large forge was located, the pufferfish pinned Kokoro to the ground while he heated up a piece of steel until it was scolding hot and glowing orange. Kokoro's eyes widening he knew what was to come, the pufferfish ripped the bandages off of his face and applied the heated metal to his face applying pressure as to cauterize the wound. Kokoro almost on the verge of passing out remained cringing in pain. The newly found scar was a horizontal cross the reached from across the bridge of his nose and vertically from his eyebrow down to his chin. Over the next few weeks Kokoro was nursed back to full health and was constantly tortured by the fishman until he did everything they asked on whim. Kokoro endured the pain for he was recollecting his memories of the past. Finally he had put everything together, that man...no that fishman killed his parents and sold him into slavery. Pirates were ruthless. And he would have his revenge. Theme Song: Weapons/Items: Sol carries a belt that contains a steel capsule in each ring where each belt loop would be. With a total of 5 capsules each contains a different fragment of an element or material. The first capsule carries a small crystal, but the crystal isn't any type of material, but a diamond instead. The second capsule contains an extremely elastic material: Rubber. The third capsule contains quicksilver, otherwise know as mercury. However Sol cannot be poisoned by his own use of mercury for his body eradicates the toxins. The fourth capsule contains Concrete Cloth a flexible concrete impregnated fabric, that hardens on hydration to form a thin and durable water and fire proof concrete layer. Finally, the last capsule contains a rather abnormal material, it is that of the proteins produced by jellyfish to create electricity. Special Skills/Attributes: Sol has learned to combine two very deadly martial arts. The first martial arts being capoeira a martial art that combines elements of dance and music. The martial art aspect is still subtle and disguised. leading many non-practitioners to ignore its presence. Capoeira is a fast and versatile martial art that focuses on fighting outnumbered or in a disadvantage, the martial arts keeps the user in a constant state of motion as to not become a still easy target while using feints and fakes to trick the target. The second marital art is that of Kung fu and a vast amount of styles, these two combined can create a very powerful and deep rooted way of combat. Sol can turn into any matter he gets a hold of except for water as it is against a Devil fruits nature. However common materials such as concrete can last for an entire fight, but materials like that of mercury or jellyfish protein can only last a few minutes depending on the potency of the matter and the extent he uses in said form. His mastery of each material also plays a factor in the amount he can hold each material. Sol has an extremely conditioned and well toned body allowing his have explosive damage when using brute force or using his agility to become as nimble as a ballerina. Sol also posses two types of Haki, Kenbunshoku Haki and Busoshoku Haki. Devil Fruit (Optional) Name: Mondai Mondai no Mi (Matter Matter Fruit) Type: Paramecia Description: This ability enables the user to mimic the surroundings, and thus, be able to conceal himself from sight. Moreover, the user gains the physical characteristics of the things they copy, for example, imitating concrete turns his skin resilient similar to having an armor of concrete. By replicating tough objects, it also increases the strength of the user.
