"Oh, I'm good for now. Elijah said shaking off that feel good drag that was comes from a nearly full charge. "Shall we take to the skylines? What is illness to the body of our Knight Errant! What matter wounds, for each time he falls he shall rise again! Woah to the wicked! Sancho my armor, my sword!" Elijah shouted, filled with passion and excitement. His body arcing electricity at the end of his battle cry he bolted off. Ascending in the skyline flying maybe fifty feet above the buildings. Always adjusting to stay comfortably above the buildings. Every couple of meters lead him to a higher speed, being able to bleed off some of that ecstatic feeling. His direction was that of Zeke's bar. Having a full charge always put him in a mood that was beyond words. It was ecstatic to say the least. Eli had never done been one for drugs, but he always thought this is what Heroin or Cocaine or some out of his world heavy drug was like. He always preferred drinking to drugs. Maybe because he always grew up with a bottle someone where around him. Even in those drunken circle were drugs looked down on. That was one of the few things that stuck with him into adulthood. If you could call him being an adult. He loved a full charge, it was an addiction, one that was nearly as bad as being conduit. If the truth be told he felt so bad for the all the norms that were below him. All those that would never get know to what it was like to be able to fly Icarus, only unlike Icarus the limitation of wax would have no effect on him. All those who would never the distant feeling of euphoria that comes a charge and just having conduit powers. Those poor, poor, fools. When he got to the bar, he started to calm down. Partly from getting his levels right, which was big on its own right. Ninety-five percent charge was as high as he could go without being a danger to himself or others. He had been to a 100 percent a couple of times, once or twice he went beyond that. Each time was he became a danger to just about everyone around him. He had to really think about controlling every bit of power he had. While it wasn't so bad in a fight it was, for one reason or another, harder in every day life. Anything past a full charge, an overcharge, that was a combat only option. He couldn't control an overcharge, it was too much power. It would easily arc off of him and onto the nearest conductor, people included. The other part was for being at Zeke's. Zeke's was one of the few places that Eli felt like he could be a regular at. He was comfortable there and well known. Most people seemed to have liked them there and most all the regulars knew him at least somewhat well. He still confided into no one, but he did give them a real look at his personality, anything more than that was none. He'd even bring the occasional date with him, most conduits, although some were norms. It was a comfort to have someone place that he could go to on a constant that wouldn't bite him on the ass too hard. Most conduits looked after each other. What side of the law they were on, didn't matter. they did a pretty good job of taking care of their own. For the most part if anything were to happen to him there, at worst he'd have a fighting chance.
