No such thing as too many questions if it helps you as a player. I love an attention to detail (I mean I made that map just for this game haha).

That messenger bag sounds fine, not so big that it gives you an advantage over anyone else. Think about the size of a medium sized purse or shoulder bag and you'll be fine, I just don't want someone claiming to have a huge backpack or duffle bag that could fit a machine gun.
