Hell, if you guys would chip in at least half of the starting cost, I'd open a MC server for everyone to dick about on. Set a couple of you more active players up as admins, and give everyone who chips in a copy of the Paypal's monthly transaction list to show it's only being used for the server.

The thing with that is, people trusting me(or someone else) enough to do shit....and me having the time to do the initial setup(a week or so to compare prices for servers, reputations of the server providers, etc.)
