Ellie was so scrunched up in her seat, that she was blocking out pretty much all light from getting between her arms, leaving her face in near darkness as she just silently broods -this was a mistake… I can’t be near other people… Even to monsters I’m so horribly weird…- she tells herself as she clenches her eyes tight. –I could still run… I could easily just walk off the bus… and fly away… I’d probably never see these people again… and… I could just go back to the way things were… - she continues… But of course… the way things were wasn’t exactly good… four years of being alone… nowhere to call home… never staying in the same place for long… sure the first month had been fun… but then the wandering started to take its toll on her… The knowledge her mother would never welcome her back home just made matters worse… This was her only chance of fitting in anywhere and she had already blown it by just coming off as a giant weirdo… “You shouldn't be so shy. We are all going to be going to class together for the next four years. We'll have to get to know one another.” The sudden voice causes her to flinch, lifting her head a little to look back over the seat at the girl sitting behind her and she slowly uncurls, trying to keep her emotions from showing on her face as she looks up, “S-sorry… just… uhm… not… not used to interacting with people…” she mumbles, still self-conscious and not really wanting anybody else to hear her. “It’s… uhm… nice to meet you Yua…” she says, forcing a halfhearted smile… but at least she was trying to put on a cheery face, “And... well.. yea.. that… is good… we don’t have to hide what we are… but… I just don’t know…. I don’t like being like this…” she mumbles, looking down at herself, not really taking into consideration that nobody actually knew what she was and that probably wouldn’t make much sense “But they say I have to… at least for classes…”
