Aoba watched Kuro leave and then floated around in the tub. His wings stretched out fully and he sighed. He had finished cleaning off and was now left to his own thoughts when Kuro left. Normally, he didn't mind being alone to think. It was something he had to do often, but ever since he met Kuro he liked the company. It was nice being able to talk to someone for a change. He leaned against the side of the tub, looking at the ground. He noticed the fire dim but didn't think to fix it. Out of boredom, he closed his eyes and began humming a soft song. He remembered hearing it once before when he was younger, and the woman that sang it said she had heard it from the human realm. It was some children's song. "Hmm. . . How did it go again?" He thought it over before beginning to sing. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are grey You never know, dear, how much I love you Please don't take my sunshine away. . . ." Aoba didn't know why the elderly angel sang it so much to him. It sounded like such a sad song, and as he thought about it, it was probably fitting for his little life. He didn't know he had a natural talent to sing, he just assumed it was a little hobby for himself. He continued singing, staring at the fire. When he ended the song, he watched as the fire died out. His wings folded as he heard Kuro walking up. His eyes looked over the boxers and towel. If it was going to be hot, he supposed it was a good enough reason to not wear clothes. He took the towel first and climbed out, wrapping it around his waist. Drying off enough, he then slipped the boxers on, leaving the towel around him as well. "Thank you. " He said, forgetting to say so earlier. With not much else, he walked toward the front, passing Dani while he was staring out past the border. He was itching to attack something, so at the slightest scent of a demon he was alert and prepared to attack. But unfortunately, the demon disappeared just as he had arrived. Dani's attention turned to Aoba as he walked past. The demon's eyes narrowed, though holding no sign of being a threat. Instead, he stood and walked over to the angel making him freeze. There was a cold silence as Dani eyed Aoba. "Kuro..." He whispered and stepped back closer to the more familiar demon. "Why is he staring at me like that?" Even though he was whispering, he knew Dani could still hear him.
