Kijani listened closely to Mr. Xavier's explanation, curious. She'd always thought her mind was blocking pain from her consciousness, after the abduction. But to hear it was actually physical- that was something she'd never heard before. It certainly explained why she could slam her finger in a door and not feel it, but at the same time could get pain from her memento of the time with Alpha. "I... I would only want a specific part of me healed, sir." Her hand strayed to the side of her torso, rubbing lightly. It was throbbing with sharp pain, like it always did when she thought about what had happened to her. She stood, her thoughts spinning. "I'll attempt to open up to the others. But no promises." A sigh escaped her. She did not want to go to Mimic's class, but figured she had no choice. "Thank you, Mr. Xavier. I appreciate your wisdom and your help." She flashed the man a brief smile, before heading out the door and making her way quickly to class. Once there, she sat on the edges, away from everyone and hoped she could get away with not being noticed.
