Lucifer had been at rest upon his throne of skulls. His palm resting against his face lethargically whilst considering what work would be done. This war was nearly more trouble than it was worth. Indeed, the Kingdom of Heaven would be within his grasp eventually, but until then the process was messy. Creating more Demons out of humans or fallen angels was a chore. While he was grateful of his snakes duties allowing him to rest away from his own, his presence was certainly unwelcome to the tired and somewhat grumpy Prince of Darkness. Thus when the snake slithered in unannounced, Lucifers bloodshot eyes snapped open. He listened to his servants monologue with the utmost impatience, tapping his long, clawesque nails on the skull most prominent to his right. Once his servant had finally stopped speaking, the jarring yet melodic voice of Lucifer echoed throughout the chamber. "Leave me." The Lord of Hell closed his eyes again, relaxing to the thought of the snakes presence abandoning his own. Such harsh words, even spoken telepathically, was beginning to give the fallen angel a migraine.
