Welcome anyone and everyone I'm currently interested in trying to revive an old Roleplay a friend of mine and I ran long ago on a totally separate forum. I was only a mod there and helped lead only a bit, but I'm going to try my hand at leading for once. If this only gains one person's attention I'm interested in making this a 1x1 but overall this will be [b]HIGH-CASUAL[/b] Roleplay. You will be expected to understand english, formulate extensive plots and create unique characters on your own. The Roleplay will be a sandbox type meaning that a main plot will not entirely exist, instead you will be expected to elaborate the appearance of the world, what it has to offer and the events that occur within. This Roleplay was intended to be a group of like-minded individuals creating a world together, not a single person leading a group through a story.

[b]The Lunar Realm: Land of Aeon.[/b] Designed to be the first virtual reality environment any large mass of humans would experience together, turned into one of the worst events in human history. On December 14th, 2045 - a man named Lawrence Wade, the creator of 'The Lunar Realm' was labeled as an international fugitive when he trapped 50,000 youths in his game. His company had designed a new gaming system meant to revolutionize the world, they had amassed enough computing power to create an AI strong enough to handle the overwhelming system required to deal with so many minds, meanwhile also developing a new-age piece of equipment known as a Neuroplate. The Neuroplate was fitted into a helmet, which allowed one to sync their brainwaves with the AI's signal and enter the reality it produced. Programmers and designers spent years working with this complex AI, known as Pandora, to create this ever expanding complex environment known as "Aeon". When players logged into Aeon, they found the world was designed to not let them back out. It wasn't until everyone who had bought the game logged in that people realized they would never be logging out. Lawrence Wade claims the AI Pandora took control and this has nothing to do with him, while the programmers and technicians state this is impossible. As to what caused the event is unknown but to those who survived it, it was known as [i]the Reckoning.[/i]

The world of Aeon is vast consists of Terabytes worth of information, expanding a landscape larger than Earth's (since most of its surface is water.) The globe itself is said to hold about as much mass as the moon. While gravity exists much like it does on Earth, some chunks of earth float through the air unaided by anything man made. Large amounts of flora, both deadly and not exist in the world. Most of the land is ruled by lords who wage war constantly not only over ground but also over the resources. There exists a crystal known as Mana which holds energy from what the local NPCs claim as the god-times. During this time rocks fell from the sky holding the luminescent crystals, it was only recently that technology allowed them to melt this down into a fuel known as "Draenei". This has caused a split in the land, those who stick to the ancient ways utilizing mana as a source of magical power for spells and charms, while the other side uses Draenei as a type of fuel to power their intricate and advanced machines. Slowly, factions have begun taking shape as small clashes broke out across the land.[/hider]
