I remember having this discussion before, this is earth, basically, long in the future after a very devastating war with the magicals which lead to a fall in technological advancement for quite some time, the humans having to recover, and a lot of the tech focusing on the enslavement of the magicals for well over 50 years I'd say. Human human slavery happened much the same way it did on earth, but I'd place the war with the magicals, say. . .Only about 80 years after humans stopped enslaving one another. And no, while I can see humans having indentured servants, if you really want them, I don't think we should have any human slavery after the magicals war.
