Tyriel had been moving all across the world these last fifty years living among humans, until only recently arriving in New York. Due to his travels he had had little to do with matters of Heaven or Hell. Some might say he was still recovering from his mothers death almost exactly fifty years past. Others would claim he was simply travelling the world to avoid his father the ArchAngel Uriel. In truth it was neither of those as well as both. Yes, he did still miss Artemis, his mother, as he had been with her and Uriel for nearly four hundred years and he loved them both dearly. Because of his love for his father as well as his mother he held no ill will against his father he simply felt what he was doing was the best way to honor his mothers memory. Artemis had loved humans greatly and spent a great deal of time walking among them helping them in anyway she could. He could still remember her taking him for walks as a child around central park. His thoughts came back to that as he was walking by another park in New York this morning with his paper cup of coffee. It was then that he heard a beautiful voice coming from the park. Even a novice angel or demon for that matter would be able to tell that this was no ordinary singing. It's was quite obviously enchanted and it didn't take long for Tyriel to feel it's effects. His eyes began to droop and he could feel waves of peace and tiredness wash over him. However, either due to having the blood of an ArchAngel coursing through his veins or the fact he suddenly decided to down his triple espresso in a single scalding gulp he was able to stay awake and alert. Walking around the fence he began to walk into the park in search of the voice. However, before he was able to make it more than a half a dozen steps into the park a cold wind blew across him and the singing stopped. Walking with a slightly brisker pace a figure comes into view. A young blonde woman standing in front of a portal of darkness. Without thinking, a side effect of tiredness no doubt, Tyriel spoke up before she had a chance to get any closer to the portal. "Hey, was that you singing just now?" Even as the words escaped his mouth he realized he had probably made a mistake. It didn't take a genius to assume that anything that could summon a portal to Hell was probably not only powerful, but probably wouldn't appreciate any Angelic company. --------------------------------------------------------- While Tyriel was spending his time in the park Uriel was worrying about the war. Walking down the streets of gold in his flowing white attire Uriel's face was in direct contrast to the beauty of his surroundings as his stress and worry was plainly seen on his face. The most recent worry being Gabriel's sudden departure. Not that he could blame him in all honesty. Things in Heaven had been tense to say the least. The war preyed heavily on the minds of all angels and doubly so on the ArchAngels themselves. "Is there no way to stop this fighting?" Uriel muttered to himself, deep in thought. Even if it was only a temporary truce the respite it would give would be a blessing beyond measure. It was during this pondering that he saw Michael flying into view in the distance and landing among the clouds. "Back already." Uriel said more to himself than anyone. Michael had been quite busy of late he noted. Not that he hadn't of course, but Michael was nothing if not an over achiever.
