And it was this same passion that led him to join, and eventually fall, with Lucifer, for not even God could compare in his eyes to a voice as extraordinary as hers. Centuries have passed since then, and still his love of music persists. Whether he is simply walking down the street or unceremoniously ending a life, it is rare to catch the demon not humming along to some catchy tune. But behind Belial’s fondness for music lies a manipulative mind that has been sowing seeds of distrust in humans, angels, and demons alike. Everybody and everything is merely an instrument in an orchestra, and as the conductor it is his duty to ensure that every part is played to his liking. And all of this work is done so that one day he will see Lucifer sitting in God’s seat, but such an ambition has proved to be far more difficult than someone as proud as Belial would ever care to admit. But with God finally out of the picture, Belial eagerly works for the day that Lucifer is able to take his place. For now, his only goal is to find the Divine Vessel and deliver it to his lord. Yet he cares little for direct conflict, whether it is with those gaudy angels or rival demons, and prefers to orchestrate things behind the scenes. However, if a fight becomes inevitable, Belial carries a cursed conductor’s baton that allows him to summon demons to fight for him.
