Originally, Porfiry was supposed to be called Smoke because he'd be smoked high as a kite all the time.

Then I decided to make it a bit more unique.

I might add his and Kruglov's adventures with Oksana the transvestite in a later post (that bit was real, Kruglov wouldn't want you to know).
