It’s a little bit wib- I mean, weird in there.” Daniel replied to Jonathan’s question about the group of cosplayers who’d just entered the building. “The place seems to run on some sort of video game logic; even I don’t fully understand it.” Before he could further explain, though, Daniel – or perhaps more accurately, the Time Lord inside him – was distracted by the presence of a child who, by his estimation, couldn’t have been any older than ten. Clearly in-cosplay, his heart sank a bit when he realized how awful it must be for a girl her age to get sucked into their predicament. “Sorry, who is she?” he asked, gesturing to Lily. During the chaos of the day, he’d managed to forget why Jonathan joined them in the first place.
