Ayame looked at the group, nervously scratching the back of her head. The rapier in her hand felt uncomfortable, but there didn't seem to be anything else that caught her eye. Shrugging, she happy accepted the party invite as Fujiwara raised his concerns about not getting everything done efficiently. "There's always the option to reserve rooms for the entire party- it's not that unreasonable to split and make the most of our time!" he stated firmly. Ayame turned to him and began to speak in turn. "Well, you and I still haven't caught up-" "But all you've been doing for the past few days is running and sleeping at inns! I don't-" "I mean family-wise. Come on, we're not even staying there yet. It's just getting the rooms reserved. We can split the party then." "...Tch. Alright, we'll head to the inn." Fujiwara said, a hint of defeat in his voice. Sighing, he followed Ayame and the rest of the party out of the blacksmith's store and towards the inn. --- Once they arrived at the inn, Fujiwara was struck with a sudden wave of sleepiness and nausea. Shaking his head and smacking himself to try and stave it off, he turned to the others, who seemed to be having similar symptoms. As he did so, however, he noticed Ayame basically pass out in front of him. Swearing, he caught her with both of his arms before temporarily leaning her against the wall. "Geez, this is hard. What the hell could make everyone so sleepy all of a sudden?" he asked the group before a small epiphany hit him. "We've triggered a flag here, haven't we? Shoot, we can't back out now." The exhaustion overtaking his body was like nothing he had felt before, which was scary seeing as how he had spent days playing games nonstop before. Pinching himself to stay awake, he went to the innkeeper and gave enough money for a two rooms before turning to the rest of the group. "If we can't get out of this mess, then we're going to have to follow through with the rest of it. I'll bring Ayame up to her room and head to my own to sleep. Whatever the system's got in store for us, it sure as hell isn't going to stop at this." he said before picking up Ayame's unconscious body and steadily carrying it up the steps to the inn's second floor. Slowly maneuvering around, he managed to get Ayame into her room and onto the bed before he felt another pang of exhaustion. Swearing under his breath, Fujiwara resorted to using his katana's sheathe as a pole to keep him upright on his way to his room. "Goddammit Kayaba, what the hell did you do this time?" he asked as he fell back onto his bed and laid his katana out on his side. "If this is a freaking ambush, I swear to whatever god is out there..." he said before giving up and passing out.
