The information was processed immediately. Despite being surrounded by distractions, still Mathew took note of the one small detail, the movement of the man's body, the look on his face, the tear sliding down his cheek. Like a computer the information was recovered and stored within the vast memory vaults within Mathew's own mind, to be recovered at some later date. Knowledge was as a weapon, and it won more wars than any physical force ever could. Knowledge of your opponent's weakness, their hopes, their dreams, their failures and their pasts. The things that haunted them in the night, the things they wished to be one day. These were the things upon which the human mind was built, these imperfect illusions of free will driven by a broken thought. As the alarms sounded, echoing through the steel interior of Babylon, Mathew stretched his fingers. Hundreds of keys were laid out before him, and as the God Emperor closed his eyes, he could see, he could FEEL the ship humming with power. His electromagnetic defense shield had caught any metallic projectiles and slowed them to the point where they would be harmless, and minor damage had been sustained. His fingers moved over the keys, blurring as mind and machine became one. In every door, in every joint, in every clicking, moving, humming part of Babylon's body, Mathew existed alongside his creation. His mind embodied it all, connected through a powerful neurological link to the base functions of the computers that normally controlled the ship. "Let's see your hell." Hundreds of cannons extended from the sides of the country-sized Titan-class ship, long barrels surrounded by what seemed to be glowing orbs. Magnetic fluctuations could clearly be read from any scanning aparatus as the quantum particles in these orbs were accelerated, manipulating mass and gravity in order to create a quantum field were energy was concentrated. Power built up, false mass being generated to create an incredibly powerful gravitic pull, concentrated into a single point, as Mathew, through a simple thought pattern, moved his Combat Drones into position. With a powerful electromagnetic pulse, hundreds of Combat Drones were launched by the sheer concentrated force of the false mass that the quantum engines had generated, easily traveling at over 10x the speed of sound, ripping through the vacuum of space faster than the human eye could follow. Impacting in the ship, these projectiles tore through the enemy hull, mere works of steel or alloys shattering before the sheer firepower of the quantum spectrum, as Mathew bent the base elements of the universe to his will. Having penetrated into the enemy ship, shattering through the outer rim, the large pods unfolded. Four large mechanical legs stabbed themselves into the ground, creating a foothold against the incredible pull generated by the vacuum as all the air from the ship becan siphoning out of these newly formed holes. Large miniguns based on railgun technology extended from the sides of the main body of this spider-like drone, as the head, placed on top of the humanoid body that extended from above the spider-like legs, had a variety of sensors that immediately began scanning for forms of life. Even in these drones, extensions of Mathew's grip, the God Emperor existed, as he looked through their eyes and observed the world. And as such, Mathew's iron hand prepared to completely conquer the ship, offering asylum from the enclosing and unstoppable vacuum only at the price of the freedom of the crew. Below on the ground, also, Mathew existed. Hundreds of eyes, hundreds of voices. An existence that engulfed all those that served him, he moved through the streets, as the Clone Emperor was held hostage. The main shield was taken down as the generator was taken over by the drones, even as it was prepared for study. Mathew existed in every corner of this world, and he held witness to the victory of his mechanical servants over the fools that dared oppose him. For now, he truly lived up to his name. Arisen above the mortal coil, ascended beyond the mental and physical limits of mere mortals, Mathew had truly become something greater. By linking himself to his every creation, he had become a God. The God Emperor had started his conquest. And he would not be stopped.
