Serena smiled and left Gunner's side to go get her own stake, she had to learn to properly use one after all, if she was going to properly teach Sebastian. She grabbed it and turned to the dummy. She pursed her lips as she wasn't actually striking it. She was just moving through the motions, feeling her every movement and trying to think about how to explain it to Sebastian.

Gunner turned back to his dummy and took to stabbing it in the heart over and over. It was easy, he had the strength to easily get passed the ribs and sternum and the discipline to hit is mark. He started to move around it, trying stab the heart from different angles. Gunner had to move on from his dummy, by the time Anna arrived the heart was basically exposed and pummeled. He walked over to the new dummy and didn't really pay attention to what he was doing. Instead, he was focusing on Anna. She seemed happy and he had a feeling it wasn't from him. He hadn't followed her or had the chance to speak about that kiss and she looked devastated when she left. This sudden onslaught of smiling wasn't from him. 

Wrapped up in his thoughts, he wasn't paying attention to where he was stabbing. Missing his target entirely, the stake drove into his leg. He cursed and looked down to see the tip of the stake was lodged into his leg. He shook his head and removed it, wiping the blood off on his pant leg before awkwardly hobbling over to the side to get wrap it up. He groaned a little, he couldn't believe he had just done that.

Rae grinned at Jace when he walked over to him, "Dude! You missed it! We're learning to make bombs!"

He laughed and one of his friends tossed a chair against the fire proof wall before Rae threw his fire sphere. After amount the ball expanded and swallowed the chair. The fire users cheered, beyond delighted with setting things on fire and blowing things up.
