In seconds turned to minutes as she applied pressure on the trigger, sights lined up with his wrist as she finally applied enough pressure to make it fire, feeling the gun kick back and a spent round eject as the round made its way into and out of the man's wrist, dropping the detonator as Wendy moved the pistol a few inches to the left and shot one last bullet into his head.
