I think pointing it out in the OOC is pretty dignified. It is for the discussion of characters and abilities, no? It also allows future players to know their own limits by seeing what is allowed and what is not. If I see an ability that looks unfair I should have a right to say I think it is unfair and everyone can agree or just call me a whiner. If everything is handled in via PMs then we won't know our own limits when creating newish characters. Though I would also agree that if you aren't a mod it really isn't your place to do any critiquing in the first place. That's my opinion anyway.
I don't want people to feel singled out, nor a shitstorm to brew because two players have disagreements. If you feel something's unjust, then you're better off telling the leader (Pierce) or co-lead (me) in a pm to spare a possible meltdown. Whether I agree or not, it's easier on us so we don't have to deal with one big argument in the OOC. You have your 'rights' but exercise them while thinking of fallout next time. You can have your opinion on characters, and as I said we were already approached by someone else about this template and would've gotten it under control soon. Just discuss it in private to the people who can fix it instead of shining a huge spotlight on their eyes while you break their kneecaps.
