Yeah, Homestuck's a long read. There's definitely [i]way[/i] more to it than the trolls, especially since the trolls don't show up until late Act 4, and aren't properly introduced until Act 5. :lol If you really wanna read Homestuck, you're gonna have to just sit back and enjoy the ride. Trying to quickly get through it just for the trolls, well... won't be satisfactory. :hehe

However! How far are you? If you haven't finished Act 1 yet then I can safely say you haven't really gotten to the interesting parts yet. Act 1 is notoriously slow and tends to turn off a lot of people to the comic, but once you get to Act 2, things finally start to speed up. And from there on out, the plot of Homestuck thickens exponentially until everything is so wild and crazy it barely resembles Act 1. :lol And while the trolls don't show up until a lot later, there's still a ton to read and enjoy before them. Contrary to what some fans might have you believe, the plot does not revolve around the trolls.
