Alex watched as Winchester hovered his hand over the ignition. Suddenly the engine sputtered to life and the radio began playing her favorite country station. She needed to learn these tricks. She could feel her spirits lift at the sound. She jumped in the passenger seat and nodded at him. He started to drive. As he moved she looked back around at the parking lot, and the collection of tents. She saw no one official. "I think we're clear," she said as she began to relax and sink into the seat with a heavy sigh. ~ ~ ~ For a few miles she still remained vigilant on the watch but didn't see anything suspicious. Either they had shaken their pursuers, or they were being followed more covertly. She prayed for the prior. A couple more tense miles would pass before she was satisfied they were safe, for the moment anyways. Her hair, once neatly combed and straight was now more like a frazzled orange mess against the seat, but she didn't care now. She rested her head on the back of the seat and looked it over to look at him as he drove. "How long have they been after you?" she asked, her voice now much calmer, signs of fatigue beginning to arise. She feared the answer she might hear. "Is Gabriel even your real name?" She sighed and looked back at the road ahead the sound of one of her favorite songs softly playing from the radio.
