Aoba noticed Kuro slip in and then smiled again as he complimented him. Father Gerard looked away from Kuro, focusing on the fallen angel. He was just as uncomfortable with being around the demon as Kuro was uncomfortable with him. Aoba listened to Kuro explain how the leash worked. He remembered when Kuro told him about his wings being sacred and fragile, so he didn't bring them up into conversation. It wasn't that important anyway. Gerard smiled at the fallen angel and ruffled the angel's hair. "I noticed. You did a fine job Aoba. So, want to start moving the animals?" Once again the little angel was eager to go, with a nod. Gerard turned, grabbing a cage full of baby chicks while he carried the fully grown ones. "Lead the way." Aoba nodded and hurried off, being extra careful with the little lives in his arms. "They're so adorable. Look Kuro!" He poked a finger between the small cage bar and petted one as they all chirped and bounded in circles. After Kuro got to see them, Aoba turned and led the priest to the chicken coop. Before the priest left, he glanced over at Kuro and nodded toward the truck holding several pigs peeking their noses over the edge. And once again he followed Aoba. "Hm, I haven't read all of the book. But Kuro did a lot of explaining of how things worked. I'll still look at it though." He wanted to read it, just in case Kuro had forgotten something, and to have all of the instructions to memory. The priest could practically see the gears turning in Aoba's head as he remembered what Kuro said about the chickens. "If the demon is teaching you then it should be fine. You don't have to strain yourself." The priest watched as Aoba started placing the chickens down from the cages.
