Yeah, my prediction was that "Elendra" was actually Zed using disguise powers. The use of the word niño in chapter 7 (I think) was a reference to a thing Zed did. The shady reaction to talk about who his patron was when people learned he was from the Aztec people was also a big hint. Then the complete lack of an "Elendra" perspective for patron visits in the night confirmed it for me, because I'm sure Zed is actually Tezcatlipoca's chosen one and showing that would give away the secret.

I'm glad I was right, but fucking Zed. I don't want story Jorick to be the first major character death. :<
