They certainly are extremely different. Other than the abuse, Alexi has been born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Erik was born a generic factory slave and has spent most of his life living in an underground community in the wilderness, though he has spent some time at other outposts that operate out of the city sewers and abandoned public transportation lines. Apart from that, Erik has killed people. He hates doing it, but he does as part of his "job." I got from one of your last posts that the idea of what Mois and Erik do in this war would make Alexi sick. This merging should be very interesting.
