"It's fine. I'm going to read it anyway. I want to be sure." After placing all the chickens into the coop, he then started to gently push out the chicks. "Out you go little fuzzies. Go to your mommies." He watched them chirp and stumble around cutely and smiled. Gerard watched and smiled gently at such an innocent creature. He really couldn't believe Aoba was kicked out. Sure the crime was punishable, but he seemed like such a naive little kid. It made him sigh a little. I wonder if they're looking down on him now. Seeing what is becoming of him. Poor Aoba is being tainted by demons. . . He doesn't deserve such a fate. "There! All... I think I counted twenty altogether. But they keep moving so I'm not sure. Hm, it's a lot." Gerard blinked, realizing he had zoned out. "Huh? Oh. Well let's go get the rest of the animals." Aoba nodded and picked up the cages. "Do you want me to help you?" He was confused as to why Aoba felt the need to do everything himself. The angel carried the cages back to the truck himself. "Aoba." Gerard called to him with a slight seriousness to his tone. When the angel paused giving a curious look, he continued. "You do realize, you can come with me instead of living here. I can show you the ways of being a priest. Maybe you can redeem yourself and get back to your home. . . Here isn't safe for you. You're surrounded by demons and they are tainting you." Aoba paused and looked down at the cages in his arms. The idea of having a chance to go back home. . . The angel looked up at the sky and then back to the house he was thrown to. "I..." The priest patted the angel's back and walked forward with him. "Think about it. Don't let those demons influence your opinion. You're still an angel. I can see that. Don't become something like them." As harsh as it sounded, he was still a priest. He wasn't required to like them. They were walking past the house, and he noticed Dani staring at them. He wasn't sure if he had heard their conversation, so he just hoped the demon wouldn't threaten Aoba to stay. Aoba merely nodded, ending the conversation there. He wasn't sure how to respond to the news. It was like a glimmer of hope that he could go home. . . But there was so much doubt. . . Did he really want to go back? It felt different being in the human realm. Kind of like he... actually mattered. But, that was just the tainted part of him speaking wasn't it? "I think the turkeys are left." He said, watching the sheeps get herded off. He managed to pat one of them and smiled gently at their soft wool. Looking in the truck, he knew they couldn't carry all the turkeys. So herding them was the next best thing. "Alright turkeys. Off we go!" They jumped down and flapped around before following the right path. Aoba spread his wings, giving them light pushes forward and keeping them forward. The other humans couldn't see them so he was fine. As they ran off to their rightful place, one scrambled away toward the house. "No, no turkey. Come back!" Aoba folded his wings and chased after the bird. Dani watched as the food moved closer to the porch. The small demon growled low, prepared to jump on it. He wasn't going to kill it, but scaring the bird sounded fun. Just as he was ready to, Aoba came and scooped up the creature. "Sorry Dani. Didn't mean to bother you." He made it seem like he actually did something to upset the demon. It made Dani give a confused look, before huffing and looking away. "Your filthy, toy." Aoba blinked, unsure of how to respond. So, he apologized softly and carried the heavy turkey back to the others. "Weirdo..." Dani grumbled as the angel walked off. "Here you go. Off with your family." The angel smiled and closed the gate and looked at the empty trucks. "We got them all!" He smiled gently, though his excitement had lessened once more. Gerard then handed him a couple of packages. "Seeds to plant." "Oh, okay. We, now we have everything." Aoba gave a nod of approval and then waited quietly for Kuro.
