That generally isn't dealt with within the bio, for any new non-founder characters. All the founder guys have explanations because they needed an excuse to be in Nova from the start, since we never RP'ed the moment Nova got founded (in this RP).

For newbies, though, we find a reason for them to be at a place Nova is (or is going to be) at, and then a reason for them to get tangled up in Novan shenanigans.

E.g. Mark was working as a bodyguard for one of the guests at Luek's (current target of Nova) party. He was set up to get in trouble by one Nova member, as a distraction from the rest of the team, then got in trouble on his own by punching one of Luek's bodyguard boss's face. This left him in the security room where there'll be three Nova members. After which he will be inevitably caught up in Novan shenanigans.

The team's a black hole of chaos that sucks everyone into their problems.
