Nice, finally someone is willing to take Alinor. Some things I've noticed:-The Dragonborn is a Redguard, not a Breton.-Your idea of human fighting for the Dominion seems interesting. However, it feels a little unfeasible. I would change it to mercenaries instead of loyal fighters.-According to lore, merchants do not preside over arcane scholars on the Isle. By Aldmer traditions (they are one of the most traditionalist races), artists and mages are considered higher in class than traders.-While the Dominion navy is the most powerful in Tamriel, 1500 ships is a bit overkill. The British Royal Navy (comparable to the Aldmer fleet) never reached anything close that kind of number. Even the modern US Navy only operates 289 ships.I'll let my co-GM, Leidenschaft, do a more through analysis and fill you in on what you need to do before starting. In the mean time, I'll try to condense all the events into my next post.
Thanks for the condensed post! And I hear you loud and clear on the Naval thing. I'll reduce it. Any idea what kind of number would be more appropriate? I just kind of wanted a lot so troop transport would be such a pain in the ass. As far as the Dragonborn, your sure? I could have sworn to the Eight/Nine it was a Breton! Dealing with the Non-Elven fighters, they were picked up during his travels on Mainland Tamriel, and are filled with various groups of bandits, smugglers, thieves and murderers. For one reason or another, Aelid won them over. However, I don't expect to replace them once they are dead. The Men of Mer are kind of a one shot group of criminal loyalists. As far as the social system goes, Traders have rose in my society in prestige due to their constant help in aiding Aelid. However, I do understand that Mages and the like are important to their society. Instead of putting Traders or Mages above one another, lets just say that Higher Tier Merchants are now equal to Mages in Prestige, due to recent events.
