Anyway limited detail on this mission that apparently went so wrong that only your character returned. You didn't describe the time between meeting your master to losing him, so awakening Mangekyou makes little sense to me. You could've only known him for a month or a week as far as any of us would know. Age doesn't really MATTER per se, I mean Sasuke got his at 16 under stressful conditions: Killing a brother he looked up to, and discovering that Itachi was just doing what the Leaf needed him to do. Your origin doesn't exactly cover that very well, so here's what we'll do: You can use this incident to unlock Stage 3 of the Sharingan, but there's too little information on his growth with his Kekkei Genkai to warrant you having the most powerful form that doesn't involve an eye transplant. Sorry, it makes us uneasy, and the Mangekyou is a lot of power. Doesn't help that if you're suspected of killing a fellow Uchiha to awaken it, the Hokage, who is an Uchiha himself, would likely hesitate on seeing you progress unless you could explain what had happened in detail with a good team nearby knowing that what you say is truth and not fabrication.

Jounin isn't given based on power alone. You need to show excellent qualities in leadership and have a level-head, as well as the skills to get the job done. To that end, I don't think your reasoning for reaching Jounin is acceptable and I'll need to ask you to find another way to make it work or settle with Chuunin. Jounin aren't typically 'loners', not saying they can't be, but they at least need to know what it means to lead people and you didn't mention much experience in that field.

So fix these bits and we'll see where we're at. Other templates are currently under heavy review, we'll let you know ASAP folks.
