Bio: Riki never truly had a home, her parents were traveling merchants. Poor traveling merchants peddling worthless trinkets that promised good luck and other fictitious effects. People didn't always buy into it, and often they were driven out of towns (sometimes forcefully) for disturbing the peace. In one particular town in Sadan they made a juicy profit by selling several products for a hefty price to an especially superstitious and wealthy man. However when he became dissatisfied with the transaction he had Riki's parents arrested. They were dragged away by guards and stripped of what little they owned. She never saw them again.

The choice between starve or steal was easy, but Riki was never good at picking pockets. Only her young age prevented her from being arrested. Luckily she found her way into what some would say is bad company. A brigade of bandits took her in. The leader's wife always wanted children, but couldn't have any herself. They took Riki in and treated her like a daughter. For the first time in her life she didn't worry about not having enough food or where she was going to sleep the next night. She realized the only thing stopping her from getting what she wanted wasn't coin or rank but the sharpness of her blade. From then on she became obsessed with becoming a great swordsman. What she lacked in strength and power she made up for in speed and reflexes. She preferred to strike twice before her foe can make a move. Her weapon of choice is the rapier for its lack of weight and range.

At the time, she wasn't skilled enough. Guards overpowered her adopted bandit family and slaughtered them, all the survivors were arrest except Riki. Fate it seemed would allow her to escape twice. Banditry without comrades was suicide, so she became a sword for hire and did the odd job here and there. Her skills and unconventional style caught the eye of the Ironwolves so they recruited her. She took it as an opportunity to learn from (and challenge) some great swordsmen among the Ironwolves, and to have the reassurance of a meal every night. Riki has been with them for a little over 6 months now. She is fairly content, but is clearly only interested in a good fight.
