The case is made from wood twice struck by lighting, very powerful for Voodoo work and hard to come by. He has also made it a point to become efficient in the use of the blade part as well.

- A keepsake, while he hates his father and more importantly the Plague Lords Monty nonetheless keeps the ring as a reminder of simpler times. Age: 114 years old, appears early to mid 20's. Personality: As a plague lord and a savant, Monty was almost completely apathetic to the the regular humans and it was only through the brief moments he was allowed to meet with his mother that allowed him to chip away at the apathy with compassion. However he learned his lesson too late and in the process hurt many, many people. After leaving the order he becoming a laid back necromancer and herbologist, trying to ease the misery caused by death and disease through herbal remedies and talks with dead relatives. Likes: positive emotions, tea, swamps, forests, and Cajun food. Dislikes: Negative emotions, soda, alcohol, abuse, and phonies who pretend to talk to the dead for money. Backstory/History: Monty was born to house Passio, one of the 12 plague houses of Nurgal. The houses were founded under the belive that disease and misery were a fact of life, a gift even from their god. However even as a child Monty didn't much like it. Sure he could create disease and sickness better than most of his peers, but he wasn't too keen on the misery part. He was just too good a kid, much to his fathers annoyance. Eventually it was time for him to take on the trial of plague and so he did. He spent almost a week on his disease and while the others spent only a day or two on theirs, they only got several thousand infected each and very few died. But not Monty's, no. When he unleashed his plague about ten thousand became infected and a couple hundred died. While on the grand scheme of things it wasn't all that great of a loss, some third world county that no one cared about. However Monty saw the misery and the pain first hand... he couldn't stomach it. He soon left the Plague Lords and never looked back. For Monty it was the last straw. His usual diseases were cast on criminals and scum but this...this was different. The emotional backlash he gained from the loss and death overwhelmed him and while his father was never prouder, Monty was completely sick with himself. He left the order shortly after he was made a Plague Lord. After this Monty traveled the world, searching for a purpose and eventually finding it in the British Isles. There he learned the secrets of Necromancy from a powerful and kind shaman who used his power to help others cope with their lose. Finding joy and companionship under the Shaman once again, Monty stayed for about a decade until he decided that his knowledge would be of better use outside the Isles. As Monty traveled the world once again the Plague Lords butted into his life, trying to get him back into the order. When he refused his father attacked him, calling him a disappointment and worthless. As the fight went on Monty was forced to do the one thing he despised most...taking a life. His father had gotten out of control, throwing plague after plague at him and while he deflected each spell they were adding up and they could spread to others not so magically inclined. Using a spell he learned from a wandering pyromancer Monty lit his father ablaze and was forever marked from that day forward as a traitor to the order and to be killed on sight. Finding it too dangerous to stay on the eastern continents, Monty made his way to the Americas and found himself in Louisiana. There he yet again fell under the wing of another master, this time in Voodoo. While with the good doctor Monty didn't learn how to make voodoo dolls, make zombies, or create hexes...ok maybe the hexes but most of his time was devoted to herbology. As he studied underneath the doctor he also learned how to banish evil spirits from people and places, like an exorcism but minus the holy spirit. Eventually Monty learned everything the doctor could teach and became an honorary witch doctor and voodoo priest, gaining his facial tattoos as a result. Several months after he left the priest, Monty came about a circus. In all intents and purposes it was a regular circus but underneath all the glam and glitter Monty could smell it. Magic. Meeting the ringmaster after the performance they talked and became fast friends. Now Monty goes were the troupe goes and while his particular set of skills aren't much for shows his tent does sell herbal remedies and the occasional commune with the dead.
