If I get a chance to go back home. . . I could always prove that I-. . . Well, maybe they don't want me back. But if I try my hardest like Father Gerard said, maybe they will. The internal conflict went over and over in his brain as he waited for Kuro. He looked down at the seeds, reading the labels to get his mind off the other things. "Tomatoes. Corn. Hmm, strawberries." There were a few more but he couldn't read them all because Kuro had walked up. He gave a smile and returned the wave. Gerard's arms crossed and he listened to what the the demon had to say. He didn't understand his doubts very thoroughly, but he watched the two interact. "Oh, that's good. Hmm, I want to go see them! I didn't get to." He still felt a little awkward about the situation and didn't want to face it at the moment. So, before either male could say much he walked off to the barn. As he did, Dani caught his attention when he snorted and rolled his eyes. He had heard the priest's little conversation and only found it dumb. He wouldn't let his new toy get taking by filth like the priest. Though, he was still avid on getting the toy to be cleaned. "What's wrong?" Aoba decided to stand at the porch, leaning forward curiously. Dani eyed Aoba as he stood there with those large innocent eyes. It was. . . Weird. Maybe it was an angel thing. "You're really thinking about going back to that wretched place? The one they kicked you out of?" Dani chuckled and sat up, leaning against the side of the porch. "You're real dumb if you think they want to take you back. Obviously you did something really stupid and they don't want you. To be kicked out, you've gotta be a real dumbass. Heh, you're better off being in this crappy place and enjoying it as much as your mortality will let you." Being the demon he was, of course he had a few nasty things to say. It wasn't physically hurting the minion, and Dani got a kick out of it. It was short, considering his wings were on the line- although he knew Kuro wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that in front of the priest. Aoba listened, frowning up a bit. What if they didn't want him? What if Dani was right? What if they didn't- he shook his head with his arms crossed tight. "I don't believe that... I won't believe it. That's not how things work up there." Dani only moved back, more into the shade. "Tehe, you don't know that. You don't live there anymore." And with that, Aoba decided to nod politely and walk off. He had already been debating if he really wanted to go, but the doubt in his mind was only making that more confusing. The priest watched in disapproval as he walked over to the demon once more and began talking to him. He didn't hear what they were saying, but by Aoba's movement, he didn't think he'd like the conversation too much. Aoba had turned into the barn, admiring the animals. He looked at the obviously pregnant cow and patted her head with a gentle smile. The squealing piglets made him laugh gently and he picked one up. The little pig immediately squirmed and sniffed at Aoba, pushing its nose on his cheek. "Whoa, you're heavier than you look piggy." He laughed and set it down so it could play with his siblings. He continued looking at the animals in the barn and admiring them. While he was at it, he decided to study the feeding schedule as well.
