Kuro chuckles as Aoba wanders off to go look at the pigs, only to be stopped by Dani's antics. As he watches the interaction, not having moved from near the priest, he listens with an exasperated expression as his brother voices his non to subtle opinion. 'If you make him cry, I'll make you cry, my dear older brother' He knows very well that the smaller demon is just trying to keep Aoba from leaving, not willing to give up the chance at obtaining a unique toy without anything less than an equal replacement. His gaze shifts over to the priest and he contemplates letting the man know what he's trying to do with Aoba, however he can not come up with any way to put it that doesn't sound like he wants to own the angel so he refrains. He knows humans do not approve of owning sentient beings. . .Well, most humans. . . So instead, he tries for small talk. “So, baptized anyone interesting lately?” His tone is serious, unsure of what the hell priests talk about and just taking a random shot in the dark. For a long moment Father Gerard stands completely still. As Aoba moves off into the barn the priest shifts ever so slowly to look up into the demon's eyes, an unreadable expression on his face. Kuro knows he's done something wrong, but unsure how the Father will respond, he simply stands still and waits politely for the answer. However, he doesn't get one. Instead he watches with wide eyes as Gerard folds in half, laughing like he's never heard a man of the cloth laugh. On the porch Dani perks up, wondering what jokes he missed while he was cleaning his ears. “Ne, Kurotama, what the hell did you say? You trying to kill that filth with laughter? Is that even possible? I think it is, because why else would it be a human saying, right?” Kuro's eyes shift over to his brother for only a moment, and despite his usual dismissal of just about anything the smaller demon has to say, he himself wonders for an instant if one could really kill a human through making them laugh too much. He knows too much NO2 can kill a human, and they call it “Laughing Gas”, so maybe there is something to that. However he keeps a strait face and waits the five minutes it takes for the man to finally stifle his laughter enough to stand up strait and look once more up at the demon without falling into another laughing fit. Wiping the tears from his cheeks from all the laughing Gerard coughs a few times before smiling at Kuro politely. “Well, I did have a set of twins who insisted on being baptized at the exact same time two weeks ago. Made for quite the challenge to not drown them both on accident.” He tries his best to sound serious, realizing from the look on Kuro's face that the demon had been asking him that question seriously. Dani rolls his eyes, no longer interested now that it's clear the slightly elderly male is not going to keel over dead. Kuro on the other hand tries to imagine not only what was so funny, but also what it would look like to baptize two people at once. 'I suppose he could have been laughing at the memory, however I do not see how it could be that funny' The image of the priest getting dragged off in cuffs for drowning the two who were suppose to be baptized makes him chuckle lightly. “I suppose that would have been a problem. . .” Looking towards the trucks he notices the truckers looking over at Father Gerard a little impatiently. “I think your boys want to head out.” The priest follows his line of sigh and nods in agreement. “I'd like to say good-bye to Aoba first. Excuse me Kuro.” A strange chill runs through his body as he hears the old man say his name, but he suppresses the shudder and steps out of his way so he can walk to the barn unhindered. Watching the human walk away Kuro flinches as he hears Dani hissing at him. He turns his gaze on to Dani, his eyes narrowing into a glare. His older brother will not be cowed however and he motions for his younger sibling to come over. With one last glace at the barn Kuro begrudgingly makes his way over to the house and settles against the rail, an eyebrow raised in curiosity. Dani shuffles in close, sitting down so he's looking through the bars of the railing at the taller demon. “Hey, you're not going to let it take the toy, are you? Why you being all chummy with it, it's trying to take away the toy! Are you stupid, or is this one of those things I just don't get about your weirdness that ends up working in your favor?” Kuro rolls his eyes. “Aoba is a fallen angel, he feels safe around the clergy, he can't help it, and if I start driving the old man off, I'll likewise be driving Aoba off. It's not that hard to understand, and if you spent less time tearing them apart you might understand humans and angels a little better.” Dani scoffs. “I don't need to understand them. I like playing with them the way I like playing with them. It's fun that way.” He pouts slightly, but then perks up when he spots Aoba and Gerard exiting the barn. “It's filthy. You should clean it. I wanna play with it. . .” Kuro turns, leaning against the porch railing as he watches the angel and the human at a distance. He has to agree, Aoba needs some washing.
