Chizuko Irozaki - Kumogakure ANBU Putting the Puzzle Together Chizuko swiftly made her way to the home that the Three Tails had been living in. Wanting to see for herself exactly what kind of a mess the enemy had made was of sudden importance to her. It would tell her alot about what to do from here on because, depending on the nature of the killing done, would reveal to her some part of the enemy's plan. To many it would seem odd, but to Chizuko a dead man could give just as much information as a living witness. Undoubtedly when she would arrive there would be others there who were working to clean it up, keep it a secret from the villiagers, as they should be doing. That was why as Chizuko raced across the rooftops, she did so with urgency. Her visit would be quick. In and out, and then she would report back and find out which ANBU she was unlucky enough to be ordering around. When she came to the home of the Three Tails, her assumptions were confirmed about the clean up crew. They were ANBU and various medical ninja that worked diligently to prepare the bodies to be moved, and the home repaired to look as if no struggle took place. As she approached the street, she glanced around her through her mask. Though no one took this lonely road for obvious reasons, Chizuko knew she had to be quick just to make sure. Walking through the entrance that was a giant wall, she briefly thought how...prison like this home looked. How fitting. Jinchuriki or not, why the giant walls? she thought, approaching the closest ANBU. "Tell everyone to stop. I need to take a look around. I will be brief." she said to him. He appeared to be busying himself with a scroll and he didn't look up at her. anger flared in her for a moment as Chizuko waited for this disrespectful shinobi to look at his captain. "We have orders to- Oh, Miss Chizuko. Forgive me. I will tell everyone right away." he would say when he finally noticed who it was by her mask. Her brow would raise but he wouldn't see it. That is more like it. she thought.

She made a kind of shooing motion as she walked past him to begin expecting the household. Starting from the outside, she looked around at the walls, the grass, anything that could resemble a struggle, a jutsu, maybe a tool with how they got in. On one side of the wall at the top, she spotted small notches. Jumping up to get a closer look, she inspected them closely, pulling out a kunai to judge the sides. It appeared to be some kind of hook that was likely used to easier scale the large wall. Standing, she walked along the top of the wall, keeping an eye out for any more of those notches. Again she would find them on the opposite side of the enclosed household, directly across from the first ones she'd found. Below she could even see the crushed grass, and upon jumping down, she used her feet as a guide to match the footprints. Facing towards the wall. That was how they got in... she said to herself, sure of the fact they didn't simply use the front door. By the looks of it, there was more than a few shinobi that came inside. This was likely a well thought out ambush that had been executed at the right time. One more walk around the grassy yard surrounding the house concluded her outside search. She had seen nothing other than footprints, not a drop of blood or any other sign of a fight or forced entry. Going inside, she would find four other ANBU and three medical ninja who were talking quietly amongst themselves. On one wall were the shinobi guards that were stationed to protect the Three Tails. Ten, she counted, all dead. On the opposite wall were the family members of the host, dead as well. all bodies were uncovered so she could have a look, but Chizuko didn't really plan to inspect them. Instead she called over a medic nin. "You. Tell me the cause of death of each guard. she said, waving him over as she knelt next to one. He approached her and knelt as well. "That answer is easy for it seems that they all shared the same cause of death." he reached forward and turned the head of three guards in his reach. All had a single thin line of blood oozing from a lone hole in the side of their necks. "Upon analysis of the bodies by myself and the others, we believe the cause of death was a highly toxic poison. With no other injuries on their bodies, it is safe to assume the poison made quick work of them, killing them at a rapid pace, if not instantly. I believe little pain was felt as well. Though the toxic is an unknown to us, we believe it is composed of various poisions mixed with a. Analgesic...or a pain killer. We even believe its possible there are high doses of poisons that would otherwise be of little harm. The composition is odd and we have already taken samples of the poison for analysis." Chizuko's eyes narrowed as she looked at the fallen guards. A small twinge of pity formed in her heart as she spoke. "Whoever was behind this wanted to be damn sure these people were dead when they left.... Well, I don't need to tell you the results need to be sent to the Raikage as soon as possible. He will likely tell you to research the origins of each poison you find, if it is indeed a combination like you say, so have that done for him as well. That way we can narrow down other possible villiages and even missing nin within the Bingo Book and see if any poisons found match up with them." she said, standing. She moved to the side with the bodies of the Host's family members. "Cause of death for them?" she asked him. The nin moved over towards her and shook his head. "We are in the process of analyzing them, but it appeares to be the same. Few injuries other than bruised and blunt trama. We can assume that it came from a fall, however there is one...the father perhaps. Who seems to have put up a fight." he said, pointing to the older looking man. Chizuko went to stand by him and looked down at the body. There was a fist sized bruise on his cheek as well as a bit of smeared blood on his knuckles. "Where did you find him?" she asked. "The second bedroom on the left, just down that hall." he pointed. "Stay here." she ordered him as she began walking in that direction. As she approached the door, she noted it was a traditional style doorway, with the thin, sliding doors. Pulling it open and stepping inside, she noticed this room indeed showed signs of a struggle. There was a hole in the right wall about the size of a man, and it allowed for one to look into the room next door. Stepping through it, she looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary. That was, until the clouds in the sky would move and a bright thin beam of sunlight would come from above her, shining towards the small futon like bed in the middle of the room. Chizuko looked up and frowned. There was a hold in the roof leading from outside , to the inside. Now that is something strange... she thought as she turned and left the room. When she returned to where the others were, she nodded to them. "I am done. Be sure to report anything else you find to the Raikage's assistant." she said before walking past them all and leaving the building. When she got outside, however, she didn't leave right away. She jumped back up onto the wall and did a leap onto the roof of the house. Landing silently, she crouched there, looking around for a hole in the roof. Eventually she found it. No bigger than a coin it was and obvious to miss it. But...why was it here. She lifted her mask off before leaning down to peer through the hole so see what was visible. She frowned as she just saw the room and nothing else. Heaving a sigh, she stood and placed her mask back on. A breeze blew her hair as she looked around. Chizuko could see a good chunk of the villiage from here even though the home was so secluded from everything else. Turning around, she looked at the land past the borders of the villiage, a place where some would simply dream of going. And that was when a thought struck her suddenly. It was a wild theory, but...maybe. Just maybe...that was it. With a clench of her fists, Chizuko dashed off back towards the Raikage's office. She needed to tell him in person what she had found out, and what she was thinking. If she was right then, they would need to retrieve the Host as soon as possible. For a moment, she feared the safety of the Three Tails. And then she feared for the safety of the villiage.
