Status: Biological (to the father)
Personality/History: Alex was the first and only child of (first name) Mathers and his ex wife. Alex's mothers was put in rehab because she was a heavy alcoholic and she his Alex when his father wasn't around. His father finally divorced after he learned that she hit Alex while she was drunk. 

Alex stay in his fathers custody. When his father got remarried Alex acted indifferent to it, but never fully trusted his stepmother, who was never told about Alex's past abuse of his biological mother. Even though he didn't trust her he still helped out around the house, since he was the oldest in the family. 

When he graduated High school he was straight to work for a garage in town where he spends most of his days. He uses his paycheck to help the family with bills and groceries. Alex has no regrets of leaving his mother since he was more like his father except for his slight addiction to alcohol that he inherited from his mother. He keeps it to himself the best he can by only drinking at bars and only getting a little buzzed before taking a taxi home. He also limits himself to going to the bar three nights a week to avoid becoming a full alcoholic like his mother.
