Vernon is a slim figured young man that makes a habit of dressing to the extravagance. A firm believer of ‘the clothes make the man’, he takes every opportunity to show off his extensive wardrobe. As a Vice Investigator, most of his clothes consist of top of the line suits and slacks. As for his actual appearance, he’s a fair toned white male with arrogant features and a prominent jaw. His hair is a dark brown though it often isn’t exposed since he is hardly found without a hat.

His shell is not even human, he chose to represent himself as a brown and white spotted dog. While many users have a tendency to mistake him as an unremarkable AI programmed into the Cloud, a few realize that this man’s best friend is merely a façade for a much more dangerous entity.

There are many officers that question how a 19 year old boy was promoted so quickly to the luxurious Vice squad, but it’s not hard to see why when one looks at Vernon’s record. With nearly every case he solved ending in either a conviction or drug bust, he was quickly recommended then promoted to the squad by his superiors in an extraordinarily short amount of time. It isn’t for what Vernon did before he was promoted to the squad that made his reputation grow but rather what he did with his new office. But, I regress, in order to understand Vernon Kelso one must look at his past.

If there could have been anyone designated ‘Least Likely To Become An Officer’, it would have been Vernon Kelso. With a sadistic streak and drug habit since he was a teenager, Kelso was often suspended from school. It wasn’t that he didn’t understand his schoolwork or he had any problems with his classmates, Kelso was a bright young boy and quite popular in his grade. It was because Kelso didn’t understand the point of attending school and thus it bored him. He became a small time drug pusher and often bribed and threatened school teachers and officials to alter his records and grades. He graduated as a ‘star pupil’ with exceptional grades in classes he never took and an attendance record that was completely false. 

As soon as he could he enlisted in the LAPD Police force and gained much recognition by busting drug rings that he himself created and came out with meritorious medals and promotions every time he exposed a high school drug ring that he had previously founded. Due to his record with busting drug cases he was promoted to the Vice Squad and quickly made a reputation for himself as perhaps the most crooked cop in all of L.A. Frequently dining with higher ups Akimitsu Cartels, he keeps up his façade as a star investigator in the LAPD by occasionally busting grunts in the Cartels while destroying evidence that would implicate their bosses or himself. Listed on both the Cartel and LAPD payroll, Vernon Kelso has secured himself a cushy life of ease and fortune. That was until a particular incident involving a 17 year old high school student happened and he was called in to see if he could make out whether there was foul play involved.

[b]Other:[/b] Not much of a fighter, Vernon prefers to let others get their hands dirty. While he did make the majority of his illustrious career through drug busts on rings he created, he is still quite the clever detective when it comes to Homicide cases which is why he was called in to investigate the mysterious death of the 17 year old student.
