Yeah that's right. From where they took of by the store, there is a little dirt path from years of people walking to and from the farm. But the way they are heading, they will hit the cornfield and have to go through it to get to the farm (if that is where they want to go) Once through the cornfield, they will have to dispatch of the undead that breached the farm and fix the fence. Going through the cornfield will leave the pretty blind. They will have to rely on touch and sound. The undead won't be able to "see" them but there would be the chance of stumbling upon some.
