Lyall sifted through the contents of Aerund's bag, hoping to find something significant that pertained to the three Shadow Duelists. Instead, he was met with random trinkets, candy bars, and fish magazines. Awesome! Now he could learn all about fish and underwater ecosystems! Lyall huffed and rolled his eyes in disappointment, plopping the magazines back into the bag. "Useless..." When he said this though, he noticed a nice little enveloped had slipped out from the pages. Huh... okay, now this was going somewhere! He lifted up to the light and opened it, pulling out a single piece of paper. It was a letter signed by some doctor named Delenaere, but it was short. It didn't say anything other than he was leaving somewhere and was enclosing a card within the envelope. Curious to see what it was, Lyall opened the envelope once more, pulling out a card. Before he could see it though, his attention was interrupted by a voice announcing the falling ill of one "Cybell Yvenstar's" opponent and his replacing with Sandra. And the closet light popped too, making it pitch black, the only light coming from the narrow space under the door. "Ugh..." Lyall folded up the letter with the card inside before placing it back in the envelope. Putting that in his inner coat pocket, he left the bag in a corner and exited the small room, quickly making his way to the dueling stages. "Well there's two familiar faces..." He obviously already knew who Sandra was (her last name, before at least), and now he had a name to place with the haughty looking girl that had strutted through the cafeteria earlier. Lyall would definitely be watching this duel closely. He wasn't disappointed, especially when he saw Chaos Fairy Luminas appear on the field. The monster had a great way of keeping itself alive, and the assault version of itself could revive its former self if it was destroyed. Longevity and revival, now these were two things Lyall definitely needed. Lyall admired how Sandra could stay just as calm and confident during her duel, especially when Cybell had brought out that impressive dragon. In some instances though, she appeared melancholy, which made Lyall wonder why for a while before turning his attention back to the duel. Cybell was obviously very keen on special summoning her powerful beasts as quickly as possible, and he probably would have admired her style even more if she didn't kill it with that repulsive arrogance. Lyall's face changed to show some sign of contempt. He knew her kind well enough, there was a rat's nest of them in both the high and low society of Aria City, each displaying their arrogance and spite in a variety of ways. Hopefully Sandra could pull off a victory to put the other girl in her place.
