His right hand has a knife-wound from an accidental self-inflicted cut. His chest has a gaping wound in it from his suicide. He also has a penny shaped scar on his right shoulder.

Bio: Nicolai was born to a small family in Paris, France. Ever since he was young, Nicolai always wanted to be a soldier, along with his best friend, Henry, and his older brother Pierre. When the three joined the army, however, none of them expected to be separated, and not just into different brigades. During the Italian Front of World War I, Henry was shot and killed in battle, sending Nicolai spiraling into grief as he was captured by the Austro-Hungarian army. Through a series events that Nicolai isn't the keenest of re-living, he was eventually forced to commit suicide shortly after being reunited with his older brother.

Personality: Nicolai is a calm individual most of the time, coming off as stoic and snarky for the most part. His team revered him as a brilliant strategist, forming tactics when the best means of winning was not available, despite not having a high title in the army. Despite his strategic efforts, however, he was physically one of the weaker soldiers in his platoon.

To make matters worse, he is also a coward, preferring sneaky tactics over actual conflict with someone else. He also had little confidence in himself, believing Henry and Pierre to be superior soldiers. 

Toward the end of his life, however, due to seeing how devastating World War I was truly becoming, he awoke his inner soldier and overcame his cowardliness (only in battle, as he has social anxieties around others).

Relations in Life: Nicolai was the youngest son born to Marie and William Harrisburg, a British-French couple (his father being born in England and his mother being born in France). He also had an older brother named Pierre and a best friend named Henry. According to some sources, his relations with Henry went beyond friendship and into a romantic territory.
